About The Author

Welcome to my fantastical adventures! Before you dive into my stories, I'd like to offer a quick introduction about myself.

My name is Arianna Del Gaudio. I was born and raised in southern Arizona and still reside in the desert. After traveling to tropical destinations during the summer, I can say, with utmost confidence, a dry heat is better than a humid heat.

When I was a kid, I was deeply inspired by the macabre and the mystical. I owe a deep amount of gratitude to R.L. Stine and Stephen King for allowing me to experience their worlds. When I was in elementary school, I actually got in trouble for bringing Misery to read in class. Who knew Stephen King books were not child appropriate?

I wrote my first story when I was about twelve years old, and my first poem when I was fourteen. From there, it just took off, and the itch to get these stories and voices out of my head just intensified until I allowed them into fruition.

My books are dark and gritty urban fantasies, with a fair amount of blood, supernatural, and romance. One aspect of inspiration from the great horror authors as a kid was knowing these worlds, these creatures, lived right beside us, and we were none the wiser. I developed a passion in creating my own stories where I  focused on how the fantasy and paranormal cautiously co-existed in the human world. It sets you in the mentality of what the world could truly be like, that you may not truly know the person beside you after all.
